DENIS KABRE
Denis is one of the main master bronziers of the Maison Intègre workshop. When he is not singing with his choir, it is in his workshop that we find him meticulously molding the wax and always accompanied by his small team of molders and founders that he has built up over the years. “I started working with bronze in September 1988. There was a workshop with a relative of my mother and by dint of going there, I took a liking to it. That’s how I started. “Since then, Denis has continued to work in bronze, particularly on large-scale projects. We owe him, for example, the making of the Timbuktu horse, a majestic bronze piece measuring seven meters wide by three meters high. He and his team joined the Maison Intègre workshop in 2017. They oversee the making of the Kassena tables and the Echo, Retro and Zaka lamps. “I like challenges and what interests me at Maison Intègre is the fact of working on different shapes from what I am used to doing. Give me the model and the measurements, I’ll take care of the rest! ”
