LAZARE OUEDRAOGO

Lazare is essential to the smooth running of the Maison Intègre ecosystem.
Present from the very beginning of the project, he now plays a central role in the management of the workshop, equipment and stakeholders. He is the supervisor, manager and mediator of all Maison Intègre activity in Burkina Faso.
I met Ambre when she was still working at Canal +, where I was doing odd jobs. Thanks to her recommendations, I was able to find many other customers. This enabled me to set up my own company. So when she asked me to help her develop Maison Intègre, I naturally accepted. I knew absolutely nothing about working with bronze. Over the years and with the pieces produced, I’ve been able to familiarize myself with all the bronze trades. Maison Intègre is not an easy project, with many technical and human challenges. The situation here in Burkina is really not easy on a daily basis. But I like to think that I’m enabling craftsmen to make a living from their art and feed their families. Today, thanks to the trust I’ve built up with Ambre, our relationship has gone beyond the stage of professional ties. Maison Intègre for me is family!
