MOUMOUNI SAWADOGO

Moumouni, known as Mouni, has been working with Maison Intègre since 2019.
He was trained at La Vitrine du Bronze, a workshop located in the center of Ouagadougou, which used to attract many tourists. The activity of the place has significantly declined due to terrorist attacks and the pandemic.

He began learning bronze casting in his twenties and gradually developed his skills until it became a true passion. Before that, he worked in various fields, including transport and as a motorcycle taxi driver, but he always found his way back to bronze.

It was through Denis Kabre that he met Ambre Jarno and joined Maison Intègre. His specialty is finishing. He works on the final stages of the pieces with precision and consistency.

“What I do today has nothing to do with how I started. At Maison Intègre, I discovered a new perspective on bronze, more contemporary, more demanding. And that’s what drives me to get better every day.”
