The shape of the Dabacali table echoes the many water towers in Ouagadougou. Dabacali comes from nouchi, a form of slang that appeared in Côte d’Ivoire in the 1980s and is spoken in West Africa. Dabacali’s action is to shareagood meal with friends in a festive atmosphere.
