Little Traditional Stools
Little Traditional Stools
The story

Carved from a single piece of wood or simply assembled, traditional West African stools have accompanied everyday gestures for generations. They are used for sitting, cooking, talking, or working. These eight traditional stools, worn by time and use, leave behind their organic fragility to enter the permanence of bronze. By capturing every mark of the wood in solid metal, we give a new weight to these everyday objects, celebrating the diversity of Lobi and Senoufo forms through a material that is now immutable.

Production and delivery

Each piece is made by hand in Burkina Faso. A precise lead time is given when you order. We ship worldwide from Paris and Ouagadougou; pieces are carefully packed and insured during transport.

Care

Bronze naturally patinates over time. Simple dusting with a soft, dry cloth is enough. Avoid abrasive or chemical products. To revive the patina, occasional waxing with a neutral wax is recommended.
