The shape of the Dabacali table echoes the many water towers found in Ouagadougou. Dabacali is a word in nouchi, a form of slang that appeared in Côte d’Ivoire in the 1980s and is spoken in West Africa. The action of Dabacali is to share an abundant, heavy meal with friends in a festive atmosphere.

La forme de la table Dabacali fait écho aux nombreux châteaux d’eau présents à Ouagadougou. Dabacali est du nouchi, une forme d’argot apparue en Côte d’Ivoire dans les années 80 et qui se parle en Afrique de l’Ouest. L’action de Dabacali est de partager un bon repas entre amis dans une ambiance festive.
